Lifting magnets

Permanent magnetic lifting magnets are ideal aids for transporting ferromagnetic loads and materials. With their help, it is possible to pick up and transport loads quickly and safely without additional rigging. Lifting magnets are often used in order picking, material storage, assembly or by the processing machine. A distinction is made between mechanically switchable and electrically switchable lifting solutions.

Mechanically switchable lifting magnets are equipped with powerful neodymium magnets and do not require an external energy supply. The magnet is placed on the center point of the work piece and activated by moving the lever. A safety factor ≥ 3:1 ensures that the work pieces are securely attached to the magnets. All adhesion data is based on testing in accordance with EN 13155 using a steel plate made from low-carbon steel of a sufficient thickness and a flatness < 0.1/500mm.

Electrically switchable lifting magnets offer the greatest possible safety for lifting loads. The use of permanent magnets ensures that the load is held securely. The integrated coil is accessed only for activation and deactivation. This guarantees maximum safety. Even in the event of a cable breakage or power failure, the load cannot drop.
