The manual destacker is an ideal tool for manual sheet handling. It is in particular used for lifting and separating individual sheet metal pieces with a thickness of up to 2 mm.
Manual destackers are narrow-pole permanent magnet systems housed in a robust aluminum case. This housing has two wide lugs on the side, into which a strap made of leather – or optionally of plastic – is inserted.
The manual destacker is slipped over the working glove with the help of a strap that securely fixates the tool in the palm of the hand. To lift a sheet from the stack, the user places the manual destacker flat on one corner of the sheet. The sheet is attracted by the magnet and can be easily lifted off or pushed over the edge of the stack. The manual destacker can be easily removed from the sheet metal with a twisting hand movement. The sheet can then be gripped and transported by hand.
